Music to the People

So Mason is my new obsession. Actually, I just like him a lot, it's my wife who is obsessed. Mason was born in Hawaii, although he looks more Kentucky-ish to me. He writes very simple songs. His last album was created in a cabin, deep in the Colorado mountains, just him and 2 microphones. He would write a song in the morning, then record it at night to maintain the childlike simplicity. Interesting tactic...and I think it works. Mason has a lot of good little songs like this, but this is my current favorite. If you like this, try "California," my wife loves it.
