Music to the People

Ok, so this band has slowly grown to be one of my new favorites. And another band from Canada, Eh? This guys even looks like my friend Colby...that's wierd. Anyways, Dan Bejar writes very simple songs that you can get lost in. This band is his solo project and this is his 8th album, and by far his best. His main other band is "The New Pornographers," a great band that sounds like "Arcade Fire," and quite an opposite sound. Bejar himself calls the Destroyer universe simply “a catalogue of the stuff I think about.” Sounds about right. The whole album sounds something like this song, but this one is the most beautiful and my favorites.
